Are you ready to design your best life?

A busy mom who wanted more for herself and her kids, I created Life Well Designed.  We all know: A happy, fulfilled mom raises happy, fulfilled children! 


In October 2015, when my youngest was 18 months old, I made the difficult decision to leave my corporate career and stay home full-time.


I had no idea the journey I was about to embark on, and the challenges and absolute joys that come along with being a stay-at-home mom and the inspiration behind my blog Seashells and Storytime.


Whether you are a full-time or part-time working parent, a stay-at-home parent, or a work-at-home parent, we all struggle to find balance and fulfillment in our chaotic lives.

  • Confidence to know we are doing great at this parenting thing

  • Gratitude for our blessings (amidst the tantrums, messes, and middle of the night wakings)

It takes time, patience and dedication to live your best life!  But, you are worth it!

Your family and friends are worth it!  And you do have the time to devote to YOU!



You may be thinking...

How will I find the time?

The same way you find time to do anything else worthwhile.  You’ll prioritize it! A morning routine is a great way to ensure you fit your self-care in before your day starts.  It’s also an excellent way to start your day with intention! If the idea of waking up earlier is daunting, don’t worry - it was for me too!  But once I got into the routine I began enjoying that quiet time before the hustle and bustle of the busy day. When I wake up early I have more energy and patience to tackle my day.  Now I look forward to getting up each day!

My dreams are silly - I’ll never be able to reach them

I’ve had those thoughts too!  I’ll say it again...this is not going to be easy!  But it is so worth it! Incorporating daily affirmations, setting goals, and visualizing your dreams every day will produce results and it does not have to take a lot of time.  Devote 30 minutes per day to your self-care and you will see big changes over time. It’s a slow process that comes with a lot of ups and downs along the way. The first step is to stop saying you can’t and start saying you can!
